Situation
The Company approached Croft & Bender after having received an unsolicited offer from a potential acquirer. Croft & Bender was hired to analyze and negotiate the proposed transaction and potentially market the Company to other interested parties. After evaluating the current offer, analyzing the industry and assessing other potential buyers, Croft & Bender determined it was in the best interest of Tactics to approach other acquirers.

Result
Croft & Bender successfully sold Tactics to Stonebridge Technologies. Stonebridge was a private company, backed by William E. Simon & Sons and Mellon Ventures, and purchased Tactics to gain a strong foothold in the Southeast.
