Croft & Bender LP has a long-standing policy of protecting the privacy of the investors who seek to invest in private placements. We do not share nonpublic information we collect about our investors (“Information”) outside of Croft & Bender LP without your consent except for the specific purposes described below, in accordance with all applicable laws. This privacy notice describes the Information we may gather and the circumstances under which we may share it.

Why and How We Gather Information: Our goal is to limit the collection and use of Information we collect from investors to the minimum required to provide superior service and to administer our business. We get most of our Information directly from you, the investor. When you express an interest in participating in a private placement, we collect personal information about you, such as your name, address, financial data, employment information, educational background, investment objectives and investment experience. We may also collect information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from the investor on applications or other forms;
  • Information about the investors transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

How We Protect Your Information: Our employees and registered representatives acting on our behalf are required to protect the confidentiality of your Information and to comply with our established policies. They may access Information only when there is an appropriate reason to do so, such as to administer or offer our services. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect Information, which comply with all applicable laws. Employees who violate our Privacy Policy will be subject to disciplinary action.

Disclosure of Information: We do not share Information with any non-affiliated third party except as described below. We only disclose Information when we believe, subject to the client’s prior consent, it is necessary to conduct our business, or where disclosure is required by law. For example, we may disclose Information for audit or research purposes, to attorneys or other professionals, or to law enforcement and regulatory agencies to help us prevent fraud. In addition, we may disclose Information to process and service the private placement transactions.
