Situation
Croft & Bender initiated a transaction between Computer Products and Zytec Corporation, two publicly traded companies in the same industry. The industry was consolidating and the two companies represented extremely complementary offerings. Croft & Bender was hired by Computer Products to act as financial advisor and negotiate the transaction.

Result
Croft & Bender successfully negotiated a stock-for-stock transaction. The name of the combined entities is Artesyn Technologies, Inc. (NASDQ: ATSN).
