Soporex is a specialty healthcare company focused on providing diagnostic services and ongoing related medications and equipment to patients with sleep-disordered breathing and other respiratory disorders, predominantly in the underserved rural regions of the United States.

Situation
The Company’s management team had significant experience operating a respiratory focused mail-order pharmacy and was interested in the Home Pharmacy division being sold by PolyMedica Corporation (Nasdaq: PLMD). Soporex engaged Croft & Bender to advise the Company and negotiate the transaction.

Result
Croft & Bender successfully negotiated the purchase of Liberty Healthcare, the Home Pharmacy division of PolyMedica.
